Sunhak Cho is the Director of Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship at Ministry of Science and ICT in the Republic of Korea.

He is responsible for coordinating technology transfer efforts among academic research, government research laboratories, and private sectors and investors. Prior to the current position, Sunhak was the Director of Advanced Manufacturing and ICT Investment, managing national R&D budget over manufacturing, materials, artificial intelligence, information and communication technologies, small and medium size enterprises, regional innovation and service R&D programs.

Sunhak worked 21 years within various positions within Korean government, in charge of national R&D programs, defense programs, transportation & infrastructure projects, and technology-augmented education programs. He also has private sector experience in private equity, venture capital, semiconductor and automotive industries. He received his MPA from Harvard University, and engineering degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and from U.C. Berkeley.
