Joshua Schnell

Joshua Schnell is Sr. Advisor at the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) within the Web of Science Group at Clarivate Analytics, advising on science planning, the evaluation of R&D, and science and technology policy. Prior to this, he oversaw a team responsible for conducting program evaluations of research and training programs and developing technology for data-driven science management.

Before joining ISI, Schnell directed the analytics group at a science management start-up, worked in research administration at Northwestern University, and was a S&T Policy Graduate Fellow at the US National Academies of Science. He holds a PhD from Northwestern University and a B.S from Tulane University.
